Pasaquan is an art site in Buena Vista, GA (pronounced byoona vih-stah). The site was created by an unusual man by the name of Eddie Owens Martin who later became known as St. EOM (pronounced saint oam). The site has undergone many restoration projects over the years lead by the Kohler Foundation, Columbus State University, and the Pasaquan Preservation Society.
In 2024 Joshua-Michéle Ross brought his Séance to Summon A Garden to Pasaquan. He worked with locals to perform an orchestral séance built with audio recordings from within the Chattahoochee Valley. You can listen to the performance at Pasaquan in Dalton’s journal article the chattahoochee beats like a heart.
